Chief Acquisition Officers Council (CAOC) Acquisition Award
The Chief Acquisition Officers Council Acquisition Award
was established to recognize excellence in the federal procurement
activities of the acquisition workforce, and encourage the
achievement of effective, efficient and economic administration of
the federal procurement system. The acquisition community is
responsible for the implementation of the federal contracting field,
and their role to maximize the management of federal budget funds is
both an important one, and requires commitment to excellence in
performance, high standards of integrity, fairness, competition and
openness in the Federal Acquisition process.
