Event Name: Meet the Administrator - Washington DC
Description of Event:
The Washington DC "Meet the Administrator" session has been rescheduled for March 24, 2010 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the GSA Central Office Auditorium located at 1800 F Street, NW. This event may be used for .5 continuous learning points. Please pass this information along to your acquisition workforce and encourage their attendance. This event is the first in a series where contracting professionals around the nation will have an opportunity to meet the new Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy, the Honorable Daniel I. Gordon. Attendees will hear Mr. Gordon's priorities and learn more about current OFPP initiatives. Participants will gain insight into how OFPP initiatives will impact their efforts to improve acquisition management while being able to share ideas and insights with the OFPP Administrator.
The location is accessible via metro: Take the Metro Orange or Blue line to Farragut West, exit the Metro on the 18th Street side and walk south on 18th Street about four blocks to F Street. The entrance is located at the middle of the building on F Street, between 18th and 19th Street. You will need a government identification to enter the building and the auditorium is located on the same level as the main entrance, to the left of the entrance. Please note any required accommodations in the comments section of your registration.
