FAI Classroom Attendance Policy Update
Published on March 6, 2017
Due to some unfortunate abuse of the generosity in FAI’s training delivery, the class attendance policy found in the Student Training Guidebook has been updated to include:
Students shall attend all course training during the normally designated class delivery hours, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. In order for the instructor to complete administrative tasks such as attendance, validating no-show students, and verifying walk-in student acceptance, all students must arrive on time for the first day of class. Students arriving 30 minutes or later to the first day of class will not be admitted and will be designated as no-shows.
This guidance is obviously altered for virtual instructor-led training (vILT), as the days and times vILT classes meet online as a whole vary. However, with this mode of instruction, there is no reason students should not be on time.
This policy will take immediate effect to include classes beginning on and after Monday, March 13, 2017.
