Adobe Flash Issues Impacting Five (5) Online Training (OLT) Courses

FAI has urgent news regarding Adobe Flash issues impacting five (5) Online Training (OLT) Courses. The following courses have been retired, effective immediately, because of these Adobe Flash issues:

  • FAC 006 (FED) - The Safety Act And Federal Acquisitions
  • FAC 018 (FED) - Green Purchasing For Civilian Acquisition
  • FAC 022 (FED) - Combating Trafficking In Persons
  • FAC 046 (FED) - Davis-Bacon Act And Other Labor Standards
  • FAC 057 - COR Refresher

Adobe completely blocked Flash content across the web beginning January 12, 2021. While Adobe announced it would no longer support Flash after December 31, 2020, we were not expecting this subsequent action based on previous announcements from Adobe.

FAI is diligently working to update four of the courses to publish on FAI CSOD this fiscal year. The fifth course, FAC 006 (FED), belongs to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and they are deciding whether or not to update it.

In the meantime, FAI has identified alternate courses in the table below, which acquisition workforce students may consider taking. The list will be updated as new alternatives are identified.
