FAI is pleased to announce a new Knowledge Nugget, “Category Management,” which is now available in the FAI.gov Media Library! During the “Category Management” Knowledge Nugget, you will learn about the elements of Category Management and recognize its place in the Federal Government including how to access the common acquisition platform known as the “Acquisition Gateway” and “Hallways” that organize common products and services into categories for easier navigation to access expertise, intelligence and data. Category management builds upon strategic sourcing and other smart buying strategies to deliver better value for American taxpayers!
What are Knowledge Nuggets?
In an environment tight on time and a demand for “just in time information,” FAI’s Knowledge Nuggets video series offers acquisition workforce members a quick way to learn about new concepts or hot topics. The Knowledge Nuggets are designed to answer a few fundamental questions, explain the basics of the subject, and inform the viewer on the importance of the topic. While Knowledge Nuggets are less than 10 minutes in length, each video encourages viewers to learn more and offers additional training resources to better educate the workforce member.
