This is the eighth video in the CIO Council IT Symposium series. It takes a look into the Agile contracting process utilized in building out the White House's website.

The Federal Chief Information Officers Council held an IT Symposium at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on June 15-16, 2015. As underscored by the recent enactment of the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), acquisition plays a significant and important role in IT excellence, and an entire track was dedicated to this subject matter. IT and acquisition professionals participated in sessions around topics such as agile acquisition, integrated teaming, and the category management approach in procurement.
