This page provides guidance on how to leverage other certifications to meet the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer’s Representatives (FAC-COR).
FAC-C (Professional)
Per OMB memorandum, Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Modernization of January 19, 2023, individuals certified as FAC-C (Professional) are considered to have met the FAC-COR requirements for all levels.
FAC-P/PM
Per OMB memorandum, Revisions to the Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer’s Representatives (FAC-COR) of September 6, 2011, individuals certified as Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) mid-level are considered to have met the requirements for FAC-COR level 2. Individuals certified as FAC-P/PM senior level are considered to have met the requirements for FAC-COR level 3.
How to obtain reciprocity
- Login to FAI CSOD.
- Search for FAC-COR and applicable level via the Global Search.
- Click “Request” to join the COR group.
- Your FAI CSOD transcript will be automatically updated to reflect the COR certification.
- Notify your acquisition career manager if you have any questions.
